I can set up a second server on another domain, and those who want to xfer over the next few months can xfer. Then NAS can be sunset and I'll self-destruct the instance. That's the only viable solution I can see.

6.5 years is a long run by fediverse standards :)

A classmate from High School is organizing our 10 year reunion.

Tourniquets can be on for a LONG time before nerve death occurs. And certainly prevent exsanguination is the top priority.

The only valid reason to NOT use a tourniquet is if you are unable to get medical attention within a few hours of application. In that case, clotting and stopping the bleed at the site is really your only hope of surviving and keeping the limb. But even then a TQ is still useful to buy time.

The US Military before they started shooting brown people in sandy areas to protect the oil:

"Tourniquets should only be used as a last resort"

I saw this as recently as 2007 in a declassified Army SERE handbook. If your medical handbook or training says this, put it in the garbage where it belongs.

@graf @dcc @TwistedEagle makes sense if true, discord is a gross hellhole. But I stand by my anime pfp assessment. Anime pfp (or video game in this case, same deal) is a signal that often means internet culture and sometimes insecurity. Internet culture has a lot of “paths” one can venture down, and as you alluded to, one of those is gross discord tranny grooming.

It’s not definitive proof of anything, but when I see it I think it’s fair to make certain assumptions.
