alright, fixed my cable fucko with a new faston to sumitomo mt090 adapter bodge and a lot of electrical tape. this has to do until the six-pin sumitomo plug arrives (and i can make a proper cable then)

anyways, replaced the spare fuse too, so i'm good to go for the next adventure. maybe tomorrow.

oh also going all out on the colors so that i know what i did and what has been there before. because right now it's all black and i know fuckall what should and should not be there.

one day earlier than expected my point-of-load board for 48V to 5V/2A arrived.

this is a project for a 48V DC home bus to power all the small gadgets around from a common supply. and additionally it adds some smarts and protections like power monitoring, a fuse and input and output overvoltage protections.
