Kevin Richard Martain & KMRU, the collaboration that I didn’t know I wanted until I layer eyes on it. I’m only one track in but is slow, heavy in scope & composition but totally alluring in presentation. They seem to find each others core sonic similarities and explore from there. I think that I heard Elliotte Friedman mention that the Oilers could use a burst of energy and Sam Gagner might be able to bring that. I love that idea for a number of reasons but is this a thing that’s even possible? #HNOM

I subscribe to various arcades and retro-cades that exist in Japan. They stream to YT almost daily and present a variety of JP arcade flavoring. Fighting games are always seemingly top of the menu and I stumbled upon this one today. ‘Street Fighter 6 Type Arcade’ was released in Arcades six or so months ago but I didn’t remember this until I clicked play. These exist in the US at Round 1, an arcade & bowling complex that I’ve never heard of.

A serviceable Ratchet & Clank style classic platformer! There’s looks to be a Steam demo so perhaps I’ll try it there.. Thanks PlayStation JP!

I’m listening to a Bruce Springsteen live recording from 10/1/78 in Atlanta. It’s as good as one would expect but I’m thinking about something. Ya know who kinda sucks, all the punk/hardcore bands from my 20’s that tried to sort of transition into this sound as they aged. Problem is I can’t think of any names and don’t feel like researching. I’m just gonna stew about that for a bit. Bruce is doing an Elvis cover, a very good Heartbreak Hotel..
