The dub work is the one I’ll ride with..
The remix..
A bit of that classic Arovane magic in a big way. Ran across this 2018 recording through a new 2024 remix..
1983 Grateful Dead shows is not a subject that I know a tremendous amount about. This new Dave’s Pick Volume 52 should be an interesting listen for me.

Her video about Eastern Germany.
And when Russia is paying you to show one perspective over others you’re a propagandist. I stumbled upon her channel showing off Eastern Germany. I watched but pretty quickly noticed her delivery being unique. East Germany also has lots of disaffected citizens who’ll side with far right parties.
The Sigma Oasis from a few nights ago is a good summation of all the reasons I listen to music.
Phish turning into the band Mastodon during this Piper, hell fucking yes..
Sand has my head in a good place. Enjoyable first set.

For the full low down read the longer take through FE here. A very excellent read
Nicolas Jaar’s albums based on a sci-fi crime mystery. Lots of voices telling narrative in Spanish but the random cuts, clicks, pop and rhythm of it all composes it all wonderfully. So far at least, much more to consume.
I saw Borbetomagus in a venue with dinner tables. I didn’t get a burger but I should have! The jazz spot it happened at still somehow fit their sonic fury perfectly. Listening to Borbetomagus seems like a right of passage for many who love these sounds. I came a bit later on but it was still love at first listen. Donald Miller and Phil are going to improvise something wonderful I bet! RIP to both musicians/experimenters/improvisor, instant composers..

Buzz' Ayaz: Buzz' Ayaz
Debut album from psych-rockers from the island nation of Cyprus. Wonderfully dark blend of regional influences with instrumentation and riffs from Greece, Turkey and more. Heavy grooves with that recorded-live energy. Looking forward to seeing where these guys go next. Enjoy!

Just the most punk rock shit you never heard..
Rest in piece Don Miller of Borbetomagus. :(
Going deep into some Third Strike match ups with my son as of late and we’ll bop over the SFIV for a bit snd it just plays so differently. I need a SF Third Strike league to follow and I’d love for it to return to EVO in 2025! #FGC #EVO
I listened to the first track, it’s to my liking which is of no surprise. Kevin Martin ends up on my end of the year list in one flavor or another every year it seems.
Philadelphia ResidentI love music, from AMM to X-Ray Spex and other experimental sonic matter in between. Politics, left-anarchist leaning(s)Sport-Hockey, long struggling #EdmontonOilers fan.
