Itabashi Zangief is one skilled assed motherfucker. I’ve never seen anyone use Zangief like he does. Angrybird is Angrybird in every sense of his legend here. Watching them figure each other out is beautiful. Onward to #CapcomCup..
Morley of Dead C via South Island, New Zealand & Nordwall via Island of Brännö, Sweden. 2024 release with two tracks that sound Gruff & hypnotic through the first nineteen minute track I listened to. I’m hoping the second gives me more of the same.
Lazly Bateman’s brand of techno is dark but it never loses its probing edge on each of these five tracks. The blackness never gets all that thick leaving room to explore the tracks many interesting sonic patterns sometimes buried layers deep in the tracks mix.
My generation had excellent music. Dillinger Four, that’s my generation I think. Saw them live many times always amazing. Lyrics are perfect, some of my favorites ever honestly.
Fuck what they say, it doesn't matter anyway Only in your grave are you alone
My hands are bleeding, this thread cuts through my veins But it's all I've got to hold I hang and pray and struggle every day To keep this spark of reality from growing cold
Fuck nationalism and fuck it intermingling with sports. I mostly just want a reason to listen to this song by one of my favorite rock and roll bands via Winnipeg, Canada. Oh the band? Propagandhi is that group and I love them.
https://youtu.be/rqjyFpoNGWY?si=B1RQUV1bwv3JX4bG Love seeing PlayStation do stories like this, MenaRD is one the top five in the Street Fighter/league, team, whatever. I can’t wait to see how he fairs at Capcom Cup. Athletes/competitors come in many flavors..
I’ve somehow missed the Ibibio Sound System until now and this is some powerful music! Sounds that also protects you from evil but now I’m going back an album, below was my first and front to back not one dud, rhythms, grooves, funk, go!
Seattle’s The Green Pajamas. Sixties rock melodies, psychedelic leaning. I’ve always loved this album but Jeff Kelly and Co are excellent song writers on everything they’ve created.
Rain Parade was some genius American rock and roll. Always nice to revisit but then I never want to leave. I’ll have to pull out some Green Pajamas records next.
Function & Varican Shadow, fuck yeah! This is lovely, floaty and has more sensual grooves compared to Dominick Fernow’s more war/middle eastern subject matter he usually reserves for this alias. It sounds like I’m describing their RnB record and it sort of works oddly.
I’m currently loving this set of music presented by the very talented Laurel Halo via her monthly residency through NTS. I get lost in their various things sometimes, today is one of those days.
Philadelphia ResidentI love music, from AMM to X-Ray Spex and other experimental sonic matter in between. Politics, left-anarchist leaning(s)Sport-Hockey, long struggling #EdmontonOilers fan. SoccerFootball-#PhiladelphiaUnion/MLS. Baseball-#DetroitTigers/ #PhiladelphiaPhillies. I do enjoy other sports, Cricket, Wrestling(NJPW, AEW), MMA, Street Fighter(Yea, #SF6/Capcom, #FGC, it’s a sport to me! Competitive exercise?), #CFLOM #HNOM #EdmontonElks. #WRC
