I'm borrowing a friend’s Focus so that I can get used to using a display before my Mantis arrives. It's very interesting reading some people's posts in Braille. Sometimes, you don't realize how a person really writes when reading with speech.

Happy World Braille Day to everyone. Long live Braille. Anyone that says Braille is no longer relevant just doesn't have a clue. I believe every blind child should be encouraged to learn Braille from as early of an age as possible. Sadly this doesn't seem to happen as much as it should. So many children are taught to use computers and learn via audio. These are valuable ways to learn. They just shouldn't be used to replace Braille.
