The strategy now is to support the pumpkin flowers for as long as the vines push them out in heatwave.
These squash family flowers are the sole source of nectar and pollen for the Peponapis bees. Unlike other bees that are generalists who can find opportunities with other flower families. The bees make colonies nearby, so this week is about keeping them & next gen supported.
