I really appreciate what #pixelfed is doing for growing the #fediverse but the lead dev starting some petty beef with #mastodon and publicly proclaiming himself to be a “genius” for obfuscating server selection in signup is straight up toxic crap we do not need.

#Bluesky is really popping off since Musk’s latest bigotry. It’s far from perfect but at least they seem dedicated to open standards & protocols.

Sad that the only thing “normal” people bounced off #Mastodon about was the “pick a server” hurdle but normals gonna normal I guess. This is still my home.
