Women's Liberation Radio News (WLRN) took to the airwaves in May 2016 to counter male-dominated media at a time when very few were out with their critiques of transgenderism. We were among the first to publicly report on trans activism from a feminist perspective. WLRN is for and by women interested in volunteer-powered community radio that reports our news from the unique perspectives of different kinds of women from different walks of life, yet we maintain a focus on the things all women have in common. We produce a handcrafted monthly news podcast focused on a topic we choose collectively.
