It is truly amazing to me how poorly Slack works in low bandwidth environments.

I love empowering the non-devs in my company to do quasi-dev things like updating strings or adding description fields on their own. Frees up cognitive overhead for literally everyone involved.

So I'm hiring for a role using Rust and Solid.js. Preferably someone in Sweden, but can be anyone in the EU. The role can be fully remote, but it is preferable if we can share a whiteboard sometimes.

Neither Rust nor Solid.js knowledge is required, but familiarity with a sensible backend language and React-like APIs is a good indicator if the role is for you. :)

Regulation is good, actually.

Companies A, B and C have a profit motive. Neither A, B nor C want to do obviously unethical but perfectly legal thing, but "if we don't they will", and so the invisible hand of the market (lol) does its thing and makes the world worse just to balance out the profit needs of those three companies.

Then a regulation appears that says "that thing, no, you can't do that." All 3 companies are happy. They no longer have to worry that competition exists in that spot.
