First of all, Israel investigating itself is like asking Jeffrey Dahmer to go check if there are any body parts in the fridge.

Anyway, the video went viral and even the White House expressed concern (not much though).

Anas al-Sharif is a well known Al Jazeera Arabic reporter based in Gaza.
The first part of the article tells his story. He's not the only journalist who's been directly targeted and has had family members assassinated by the IOF.
The second part is his own note on his experience as a journalist living under constant shelling and bombing. Often times no sleep, no food, no phone signal, no internet. More than a job, it's a mission.
