As am reading through misc news past 36 hours, of course much of coverage will overlap with the debate and aftermath

Am reminded of many more thoughts, some that I will need to just share, else I forget those...

So this set of 'current news commentary' will be more of a smorgasboard than normal

but someone had a very funny comment yesterday shortly after the debate, that the debate was the ultimate horror movie, went something like this:

The debate has They're eating dogs
And executing babies

AND

Kamala Harris performs gender-altering surgery on immigrants in prisons

Also comment. Am not going to try to find a link that works for us both on Mastodon & Spoutible, but yesterday after the debate, there were several FOX hosts who all agreed, Trump had a bad night. I am not suggesting that is Fox consensus view or even maybe majority view (I refuse to watch #FixFox)

I told you before the debate, that this will be Kamala Harris's largest audience ever, and far bigger than her DNC Convention audience of 30 million. I estimated she gets 50 million TV audience

Focus group use is not same as polling, so we cannot draw a national relevance from the MATH in a focus group

We can measure that when we take next 10 (sane) polls published after this debate, and compare their average to our 4.3% lead we have now
