I can say I'm looking forward to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. It makes perfect sense that this is a sequel featuring a new cast considering the end of the OG Edgerunners. I nearly slept on the first show, so I'll be keeping an eye on this follow up.

There was a massive 4th of July Celebration yesterday. I usually don't attend them, and if I did I doubt I would have felt like going this year. That said, a few notable things. Continued No Kings protests and District Council 33 is still on strike.

As far as acknowledging the strike, it was awesome to see LL Cool J and Jazmine Sullivan cancel their concert appearances in solidarity.

I spent an hour yesterday working with one student. She was scared of the soldering iron. "Do your parents let you use the stove at home? It could burn you too, right? But we understand how to be safe and it's not a problem."

She did a beautiful job on her project and learned the names of many parts and learned that she can be scared to do something but still be extremely successful.

This is only really possible because my classes are small. If I need to work with a student I can do it.

@jakalopes It's a fantastic game! I heard the Steam version of Chrono Trigger had some issues, so it might be worth looking into any patches or fan mods that address said issues. I'm playing from an SNES cart, though I also have the Nintendo DS port.

@CheetahFluff @BowieChilde @damagecontrolblog I'm glad emulation on that front is getting much better! I still have my PS3, and yeah it's one of the strangest systems I've ever owned.

@BowieChilde @damagecontrolblog Hey not bad for the price! As for FFXIII, it's funny it's fully backwards capable with updated graphics on Xbox, so you can play it on an Xbox Series X. Nothing from PlayStation. It's stuck on the PS3.

@BowieChilde @damagecontrolblog Oh, the kitties! But yeah, I'm actually playing the digital versions of Digital Devil Saga on a PS3, though I have the games on disc on PS2. (It's just easier to use the PS3.) Fingers crossed the DDS duology will be remastered someday.
