⚡️At least 9 injured, homes, infrastructure damaged in morning Russian missile attack on Ukraine.

Russia launched another mass missile attack against multiple Ukrainian regions in the early hours of Feb. 15, injuring at least nine people as well as damaging homes and civilian infrastructure, regional officials reported.

Russian forces launched 26 missiles of various types at Ukraine, 13 of which were shot down by air defenses, Ukraine's Air Force said following the attack.

⚡️Vice-president of German parliament arrives in Kyiv.

Katrin Goring-Eckhardt, the vice president of the Bundestag, Germany's parliament, arrived in Kyiv on Feb. 12 for a week-long visit where she plans to discuss a number of priorities, including the thousands of Ukrainian children illegally abducted by Russia.

"On the way to Ukraine. Again. It's a crucial time for Ukraine, for the EU. It is about military support, reconstruction, freedom," Goring-Eckhardt said on Twitter.

"During my visit, I would also like to focus on the children who have been abducted and taken hostage in Russia."

⚡️ Russian attacks on cities, settlements increased by 25 percent last week.

Russian forces launched more than 1,500 attacks against Ukraine last week, which is almost a 25% increase compared to previous weeks, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said.

According to Klymenko, more than 570 settlements were attacked last week, most of them in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Hackers targeted Monobank, Ukraine's largest mobile-only bank, with waves of denial of service (DDoS) attacks on Jan. 21, the company's co-founder and CEO Oleh Horokhovskyi reported.

Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko approved amendments to the law on the Belarusian presidency on Jan. 3, guaranteeing immunity for any former president of Belarus and introducing stricter rules on who is eligible to become president.

⚡Defense Ministry approves first body armor for female soldiers.

Women serving in the Ukrainian military will be provided with specially designed body armor for the first time, after Ukraine's Defense Ministry announced on Dec. 27 that it had certified a sample of bulletproof vests for female soldiers.

⚡️ Pentagon: Funds to replenish Ukraine military aid to run out on Dec. 30.

The Pentagon will run out of funds to replenish arms and equipment sent to Ukraine on Dec. 30 unless Congress passes additional funding, Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCord said in a letter to congressional defense committees made public on Dec. 18.

The remaining $1.07 billion would not be disbursed "until 15 days have passed following submissions of this notification," McCord's letter dated Dec. 15 read.

"Once these funds are obligated, the Department (of Defense) will have exhausted the funding available us for security assistance for Ukraine," McCord said.

Authorities in Moldova blocked access to 22 Russian media sites, saying they were being used as part of an "information war" against the country, according to a decree published by Moldova's Security and Information Service on Oct. 24.
