@ava @lina @nyancient I was wrong, the fork *wants* to support it, so we will have to implement it ourselves.

I guess we have a couple of things to look in to next week

@lina @nyancient There is already a mastodon fork that implements it actually so we can just backport their changes

@technobaboo @rogueren they are, but we only employ them if someone breaks our rules so badly that we have to ask them to move off our instance. Which so far has not been a problem lol

Oh btw, most people here already know me, but, due to burnout, + working on this my streaming schedule will basically be non-existent until next year. I might do some less planned collabs with Lina on occasion, but otherwise I'll be focusing on regaining my strength so that I can be ready to give it my all next year. ?

@Luci @VTSocial Kind of? There are export plugins and such for it, but YMMV. The best tooling for setting up stuff like physics is still the VRM Unity tooling extensions (even tho Unity is closed source)

@Luci @VTSocial First you should decide whether you want to go 3D or 2D.

If 3D then commission a modeler to make you a 3D model in the VRM format. Then you can use vpuppr ( https://github.com/virtual-puppet-project/vpuppr to stream with your avatar ).

If 2D then commission an artist to make a PSD cut for rigging, then either pay someone or rig the model yourself in Inochi Creator ( https://lunafoxgirlvt.itch.io/inochi-creator ), then use the model in Inochi Session ( https://lunafoxgirlvt.itch.io/inochi-session )
