Meanwhile, I feel like an era has passed with respect to the home "workshop." Acquired a number of tools related to various kid art/craft projects over the years. Now, they've aged out of all of that. What I going to do with all of those tools? Am I ever going to use them? Probably not.

Five years? Has it really been that long? That's when I gave my last adventure in live coding at a conference (PyCon India 2019). I had a lot of fun messing around with that sort of thing from 2015-2019, but its time has probably come and gone at this point.

I still think about how the whole thing got started by reading all of this bad advice about how to give a talk--all which said "never do a live demo." Ha! Take that!

Thought: After AI has finished destroying all information on the internet, the owners of all of those Time-Life books are going to be sitting pretty.

I feel like this Mission Impossible movie would be a lot more interesting if they were trying to do something like send a fax of some document stored on an old Zip drive or some shit.

Idle thought: Sci-Fi peaked with Ewoks.

@powersoffour I'm thinking at the level of a pixel array. You get pixels. That's it. Now do something more than that.

Does anyone actually write graphics libraries anymore? I mean, for fun or just for learning?

IDEs reduce code complexity much in the same way that a highway reduces traffic.
