Imagine if a mass grave of hundreds of “Israeli” civilians was found bulldozed into the dirt after a Resistance retreat, mutilated, hands tied, evidence of torture and execution, the elderly, women and young children among them. It’d be plastered on every front page for months.

The ruling class is going to do everything they can to increase their control over what people can see on the Internet. The support for Palestine took them by surprise and they are in panic mode over the possibilities that exist online for the sharing of information and experiences across borders, the extension of solidarity between oppressed peoples everywhere.

Doomscrolling? That’s silly. Put that phone away, go outside and EXPERIENCE the doom!

If I see someone online admitting they were wrong when presented with a good counterargument, my trust and affection for that person go up like 1000x. I don’t need someone to already know everything, I need them to care about getting it right more than their ego.

I just saw the video of the drone stalking and murdering the four civilians in Khan Younis. And it’s so horrible in itself, people ripped to pieces for sport. But that is the future for all of us if it’s allowed in Gaza: killer drones stalking & tracking us, a drone for everyone.

Reading a Reuters article about the famine in Gaza and it’s being treated in the Western press as basically a natural disaster. This is a policy choice, this is mass murder. People are deciding to kill these children every day and other people are helping them.

You don’t get forgiven for starving children to death. Nothing can ever make that right.

If something is rare, you don’t have to account for it in your theory. For instance, 98% of baryonic matter in the visible universe is hydrogen or helium. Therefore we can say that there are only two elements, and that “carbon-based lifeforms” are simply confused.

People often don’t realize the enormous influence they have just by living. We mostly learn how to behave watching others. If you live with integrity and speak up when it matters, you’ll give some of that strength to the people watching you. There’s a lot of power in an example.

I try to remember that whenever we talk about how much of a fucked up horror show the world is, what we mean is that the world is full of good people being wronged and beauty being destroyed, that we risk losing all of it—not a denial of the good in the world but its affirmation.

The most densely populated part of the most densely populated place on Earth, Jabalia refugee camp, has been bombed again (for perhaps the fifth or sixth time, I’ve lost count now). Each time scores or hundreds are killed. Again this is a fucking *refugee camp*!

People like to say you have to judge people like Columbus “according to the standards of their time,” and meanwhile people at the time were like “This guy is FUCKED UP. You have to do something about this guy!”

Apartheid and colonialism contain the seeds of their own destruction. They are rotten at their core, and all the money and bombs in the world can never fix that.

Some people don’t believe this about the United States. They think settlers “won,” that the colonial project was completed, but that will never be the case. The truth of its perverse origins is a permanent stain on anything built in its name and will motivate resistance for as long as it exists.
