I haven't been around lately because I had work to do in the vegetable patch: I built a trellis for peas, planted some garlic, direct sowed Daikon radishes, transplanted broad beans and a little olive tree, mulched the beds, took care of the compost bin and checked the growth of the shallots.

As so many people came, I'll reintroduce myself.

I'm a (currently unemployed) lecturer and researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I also grow no dig vegetables, bake sourdough bread, paint and do other creative stuff. I mostly talk about this second part of my life and try to keep my toots positive.

This account is multilingual: I usually toot in English, but also in Spanish, Basque and sometimes in Italian.
