A question for my fellow #Zotero aficionados: Is it possible to download/snapshot an entire GitBook for local annotation?

As it turns out, the group that published the GitBook I'm hoping to annotate has also made downloadable versions (html, mobi, epub) available, so the proximate issue is resolved. But still, Zotero capture and annotation of structured online book things would be cool

So far it appears the answer may be no, but it would be a good feature.

The latest fashion in bot account requests: Text lifted from a random existing Mastodon user's profile. Some of them are plausible. Admins beware!

Just FYI: this is part of the damage being done by extractive AI companies. Their scraper bots routinely DDOS us, and they multiply to take up as much bandwidth as is available. We are having to put a huge percentage of our developers’ time into just keeping the site alive rather than building its future. Re-upping this. I am serious about my willingness to invest personal resources to get someone who can do the research and tell this story compellingly. How, for instance, without DARPA investing in university research, there would be no internet for tech bros to exploit.
