In addition to "fairness," I've often seen folks argue that we are heading down some dark path to a dystopian Fediverse that's so fractured that no one can talk to each other.

I think if there were any truth in that statement, we'd already be living in it.

I've shutdown the WriteFreely instance at netmonkey.site and am going to do the same with the Pixelfed instance at netmonkey.pictures.

I'm not really getting much value from running those instance, so I think I'd rather spend the money to beef up the Mastodon instance.

With that being said, I'm considering a migration to #Calckey.
