Well, I got the base colour on my new Alien Hivers. But I’m not doing any more painting until next week, won’t have time.

@icedquinn True enough. I mean GIMP isn’t amazing but most people definitely do not need photoshop. Why even pirate it, just use something else. Pirating it still gives it marketshare. Adobe Premier is a buggy piece of shit, but it is legit good. But it was so expensive, I mean, fuck it, I’ll just use kdenlive – its buggy too but its easy to use and I’m not a real video person so its good enough. It’s actually less crashy than premier these days lol.

Also I’m just not interested in pirating software these days. If there is software that’s good I don’t mind paying for it. There is nothing wrong with paying for quality – provided I’m actually getting quality, usually I’m not.

Like bitching about GW gets clicks because everyone hates GW, but then they can’t leave because people want to hear bitching about GW so it just loops endlessly. They have to buy the new stuff so they can bitch about it.

I had a fantastic weekend, I finished my Alien Hives, and I got the extra units I wanted for my HDF basically finished. I printed up a bunch of terrain between my resin printers and my fdm printers.

Before long I’ll be able to find players to teach OPR and properly host a game.

And to soften the blow that it is now the evil long week, should I survive the 60hrs of incoming bullshit, I have the entire next week off.

@kaia @grillchen Ah, this was a few years ago. It was somewhere is the -30c range, below -40c with the windchill.

A few years before that, some crazy weather thing brought the windchill down to -65c.

Sometimes the Canadian prairies really suck lol
