@hannu_ikonen - I saw my first “skinheads aren’t punks” graffiti in 1984.

We lived in Anne Arundel County for 9 years. I’ve driven over Key Bridge countless times. We sailed under it in our little 27ft Hunter sailboat. The cargo ships headed in/out of Baltimore would blow their horns as our kids waved.

Shaken by today’s events. Some things seem permanent. I guess nothing is.

I had to take trash down this morning. Luckily, I had a dramatic view.

Update - Maria’s uncle got his sister’s family off their roof. Entire family (Grandma, Uncle’s family, Aunt’s family) now staying at uncle’s house (with destroyed first floor). They’ve lost everything & can’t even buy basics in #Alcapulco. Brother in Cabo is on his way with truckload of supplies.

This is another Katrina. It’s bad & getting worse. Our extended family is okay b/c they have family throughout Mexico & US. Others do not. Please pay attention to what’s happening. #Hurricane #Otis

My daughter-in-law updated us on her family in #Acapulco. Her grandmother is safe. Her uncle’s first floor is flooded, but they are okay. Her aunt’s home is completely submerged. The family is on their rooftop & on a waiting list to be rescued. It’s like Katrina, but no one is paying attention.
