@lauren I found Linux Mint rather non-tech user friendly. I is imo designed for Windows users and requires practically no tweaking.
However, I find the MS Office replacement (Libreoffice) having a UX from the stoneage, and overladden.
Thunderbird as the Outlook replacement works fairly well, but needs tweaking to access MS Exchange. And it is sloooooow when starting.
Not a gamer, so can not say anything about that in Linux.
