#haskell's time library is extremely future and past-proof using unbound integers: "type Year = Integer". On second thought, maybe interesting for astronomists and geologists?

Does anyone know of a good way, on #linux, to "transfer" log files (written by some program that can't help itself but write to a hard-coded file location) to journald?

Just so this isn't misunderstood: I cannot change the program that generates the logs. I also cannot give it a different file name, or file descriptor.
