- Media proxy won't proxy arbitrary URLs anymore. It is safer to use, and the endpoint is enabled by default now.
- Improved mitra-web navigation for unauthenticated users. Exposure to remote content is reduced, and visitors are redirected to remote sites whenever possible.
- Activities delivered to FEP-ef61 inboxes are forwarded to actor's clones.

- Blockquotes in posts. A blockquote can be created by prepending a sentence with "> ". The whitespace after > is required, and without it greentext is rendered.
- Followers-only reposts (backend only, not supported in mitra-web yet).
- Support for IPv6 hosts. This includes servers in the Yggdrasil network.
- Added get-config command, which prints dynamic configuration parameters (intended to be used with update-config).
- Post timestamps are displayed in the format associated with the preferred UI language.

The main change in this release is a replacement of mitra and mitractl binaries with a single one, mitra.

If you're building Mitra from source, you'll need to adjust your setup. Debian package should just work.

- Implemented context collection (contains posts, see FEP-f228 for details).
- Added prune-reposts command. It removes old reposts made by local accounts.
- Added create-post command. It inserts a backdated post into database without sending activities to followers. Can be used for importing posts from another instance.
- Changed local profile image size limit to 2 MB to match Mastodon's size limit.

This release includes a new server-level content filtering system:

- Rules are managed with mitractl and stored in the database - no need to edit the configuration file (commands: add-filter-rule, remove-filter-rule, list-filter-rules).
- blocked_instances and allowed_instances configuration parameters are still supported, but filter rules have higher priority.
- Wildcard patterns are supported.
- In addition to blocking activities, content filter can block media attachments (more actions will be added in the future).

- Custom feeds (aka lists / antennas). To add a custom feed, navigate to your profile and select "View custom feeds" in dropdown menu. Currently all custom feeds are "exclusive": posts that appear in a custom feed are not displayed in the home timeline.
- Include liked posts and posts where current user is mentioned in full text search results.
- FEP-e232 is enabled by default (this means quote posts will not reach people on Pleroma <2.6.0)
- "👎" reaction is federated as Dislike activity, which is processed by Lemmy as downvote
