I had a little chat with @siracusa about 3-D stereo movies and how they are made, and he did a pretty good job summarizing our discussion on ATP574 (starting at 38:44).

(I’m basically dispelling the myth that films shot in stereo natively are guaranteed to have better success than films with converted stereo.)
