St Mary's Lighthouse

The sun was late to show up this morning as the southern horizon was a blanket of cloud. When it did finally clear the cloud though, it did give some decent golden light.

Another one from Roker Lighthouse a bit closer and wider. Not sure what it is about the pier that appeals to me. Maybe it's the shape, maybe it's the metal railings and lifebuoys.

I can see why its closed when I zoom in, all the railings near the lighthouse are bent and twisted from the storms. See second photo.

3rd and 4th is the lighthouse during storm Darragh.

Bamburgh Sunrise

The second was a few minutes before sunrise. The beach had a few people about, including a lady walking her dog.

Coos of Malham.

Do you ever get the feeling you’re being watched?

I parked up on the moorland near Malham to have my lunch. Whilst there I spotted some (Highland?) cattle in the long grass, one of which was taking a real interest in me.
