Bamburgh Sunrise

A couple of photos from this morning's trip to the coast. The first was taken about 30 mins before the sunrise. I pretty much had the beach to myself.

The second was a few minutes before sunrise. The beach had a few people about, including a lady walking her dog.

Do you ever get the feeling you’re being watched?

I parked up on the moorland near Malham to have my lunch. Whilst there I spotted some (Highland?) cattle in the long grass, one of which was taking a real interest in me.

Little Black Cloud on the Horizon

Managed to catch this little black cloud as it moved across Wild Boar Fell.

Janet’s Foss

Getting this picture was a bit of a trial. Whilst I had my tripod with me I couldn’t use it to get this shot as I was stood on a wooden log that was moving and the tripod would also move.

This is a handheld shot so it’s a bit of a fluke it came out, although I did take a lot of shots so I guess one was bound to work.

I intend to go back in spring when there’s more tree cover. I’ll also take a pair of wellies so I can stand in the stream.
