Mills Observatory was where I saw Halley's Comet in 1986 and saw a moon rock on loan.

I just submitted a, rather impassioned, response to the survey https://www.dundeecity.gov.uk/consultations-and-surveys/mills-observatory-consultation for saving #MillsObservatory in #Dundee

Built in 1935 as a gift to the city, it was intended for education and outreach. It was unique as being the only public observatory in Britain. I know there's loads of astronomers on Mastodon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
