Very disappointed to see my supposedly radical, community-over-corporations instance declare that we are not defederating from the one that starts with the and ends with reads. Among other arguments made is that it just has so many people--so we would need to follow the same policy towards mastodon.social and the other big instances.

Talk about false parallel.

I am someone who was recruited to early adopt and then help grow PM/spore; I am leaving once I get my ducks in a row.

These is not the ethics that I was recruited to join Project Mushroom to participate in. We don't need to give Zark Muckerberg the benefit of the doubt--because we shouldn't have to do both sides liberalism in an intentional (and radically leftist community focused) community.

We don't need to give any of the corporate social medias the benefit of the doubt. This isn't the same as "just blocking anyone you disagree with"--this is taking a principled stand on what community means. What it's for.

It's come to my attention that a lot of settlers believe that "boarding schools" and "residential schools" were/are instruments of education for Native people.

They aren't. They're death and torture machines.

Don't refer to them as "access to education".
