In light of a powerful man's ear injury on Saturday, plus Democrats and Republicans uniting to condemn "political violence" and express their well wishes to that man -- let's look at some historical figures assassinated, murdered or executed, and ask some questions.

Such as, what the heck is "political violence", and what do people like Biden and Trump know about it?

This is Trayvon Martin. At 17, he was killed by a white supremacist vigilante in 2012. Was this political violence? We saw how U.S. Democrats and Republicans alike acted during the protests.

("Political violence" thread, 3/?) This is Manuel Ramos of the Young Lords Organization, part of the Rainbow Coalition. He was also murdered by police in 1969, aged 20. Do you think this was political violence? Do you think the DNC and RNC would be likely to condemn it?

Time for the recurring post - they did it again. MPD killed a man last night, and only a short walk from our south Minneapolis shop. Details are scant as of the time of this post, but the "official narrative" (we know how reliable that is) is that someone called 911 to report a man with a weapon talking to himself while walking down the street.

A situation that can easily be de-escalated by people without badges guns.
