As part of the Czech initiative to supply ammunition, 500,000 large-caliber shells will be delivered to Ukraine by the end of 2024, announced Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský during a joint press conference with Ukraine's Andrii Sybiga in Kyiv.

"We will continue this initiative and provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the necessary support," Lipavský added.

🇺🇦 President Zelensky visited the frontline city of Pokrovsk. He met with the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade defending the city. He talked to the defenders and presented them with awards.

"This is a tense area. Only thanks to the strength of the soldiers, the East is not completely occupied by Russia. The enemy gets a response every day," he said.

US President Biden met with Xi Jinping and expressed concern over China's support for Russia's military-industrial complex. He also condemned the deployment of North Korean troops in Russia.

Ukraine raised F-16 fighter jets to intercept Russian cruise missiles launched into Ukraine this morning. According to preliminary info from Ukrainian military sources, several F-16's were engaged in operations, and achieved very significant results. Waiting for more info.

In response to Russia’s mass attack with cruise and ballistic missiles, and drones, Polish and allied aviation have entered Polish airspace. The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces confirmed they raised fighter jets and put air defense and radar systems on full alert.

🇸🇰🇭🇺 Slovak FM Juraj Blanár is pushing for the EU to continue exempting Russian pipeline oil from import bans. Speaking alongside Hungary’s FM Péter Szijjártó, Blanár emphasized that Russia has been a "reliable partner" for Slovakia, delivering oil, gas, and nuclear fuel consistently. Russian celebrity chef and restaurant owner Aleksei Zimin, an outspoken critic of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, has been found dead in Belgrade. The 52-year-old, who ran a restaurant in London, was found deceased in a hotel room. An autopsy and toxicology report are underway to determine the cause of death.

After the explosion, water from the reservoir started filling the Vovcha river towards the villages of Bahatyr, Andriivka and Oleksiivka. According to local authorities, Kurakhove is not threathened by water.
