The winners of the inaugural Open Social Awards have been announced!

This initiative by @wearenew_public, PublicSpaces and @waag aims to give the field of decentralised social media a serious boost. The grand prize of €10.000 goes to the @newsmast. The Excellence Awards, each of €5.000, go to @blackskyweb.xyz and @sillapp. And the honourable mentions go to Bounce, Dandelion, Streamplace, Leaflet, and Bonfire Networks.

PublicSpaces Conference 2026 on June 4, 5 and 6!

Together with @waag we are happy to announce the 6th edition of the PublicSpaces Conference. This year, we will focus on the impact of technology on our democracy.
