Reminder: a person in the RICHEST 0.1 percent causes more carbon pollution in one DAY than someone in the BOTTOM 50 percent does in a whole YEAR.

The high carbon lifestyles of the super rich are burning through the world’s remaining carbon budget and costing us our future.

Entire coastal and island communities are being displaced and destroyed as a result of climate disasters.

This will continue to be the case for as long as oil and gas corporations are allowed to persist in their destruction.

The least they can do is foot the bill.

As Israeli forces intercept the Global Sumud Flotilla, Greenpeace calls for the Government of Israel to allow the peaceful aid mission to continue unmolested in its mission to deliver aid to Gaza.

Greenpeace calls upon Governments around the world to defend the right of their citizens to sail to Gaza unmolested through international and Palestinian waters to deliver lifesaving humanitarian aid.

The international community must ensure the safety of the flotilla and bring the genocide to an end.

Authoritarians, billionaires, corporate bullies and big polluters want us divided and silent.

We choose unity, courage and resistance.

The world we need is built by people who refuse to look away.
