Here is one simple trick to combat climate change that they don't want you to know: VOTE!!

Vote for people that put combating climate change high on the agenda. Vote always and in every election! Only politics can force the big sweeping changes needed, but they'll only do it if voters want it enough! Tell them you want it!

People keep making lists with the things individuals can do to help reduce your carbon emissions, but getting politically active is the number one thing you should be doing.

Taking the bus? How about governments expanding public transportation so everyone wants to?
Drive electric? How about the government would make electric easier and cheaper, so everyone wants to switch?
Have less children? How about governments forcing companies to do reduce THEIR emissions with carbon taxes etc?
