we're having open days at Mie Gusuku on Sunday, December 14th.

we'll take one group at 10:30 and another at 13:00, the tour will last about 30 minutes. there will be a presentation of this year's survey. each group is expected to be about 40 people, so we'll divide you in teams if too many people show up.

i'll be digging in #MieGusuku in #Naha until the end of December, woohoo !
this means christmas is cancelled, but, yeah, i'm digging another gusuku !

we started clearing this morning, we'll dig at least five trenches at the base of the walls to confirm the historical walls are still there (the upper part of the walls are post-war, they use bricks and blocks probably from a taisho or showa lighthouse that used to stand there)

@feditips do you mean I do not see all the content if I follow the hashtags ? that explains a lot. especially why the european archaeology days were so quiet on mastodon (all I could see in the hashtag list were my own posts...)
