For example: the way it actually works (electoral colleges) and the way the winner is called are two aspects that are usually hard to explain.
Most of EU citizens grew up with the concept of “absolute majority of PEOPLE’s votes” and “some independent entity officially calls the winner”.

Not everybody may remember this but there used to be (and perhaps still is?) an Italy-wide FreeBSD user group called GUFI (http://www.gufi.org).
If anybody knows what happened to the group I'd love to know!
In the meantime, thanks @stefano for the initiative of BSD Cafe!
