@buttondown Thanks! I’m surprised you heard it from me first — when do you switch to the new form? I’m not sure I’d have noticed it if someone didn’t tell me that “the purple subscribe button does nothing”. That’s when I realized the button only points to the page itself and a part of the page is missing

@buttondown Magic Lasso, but I’ve noticed because others pointed it out to me so I suspect it’s others too.

@buttondown looks like the subscribe text box at the bottom of newsletter pages gets removed by some ad blockers (including mine). :( Are you aware of that? Any chance of a workaround? 😬 (my own subscribe form on my homepage looks fine)

I find it super wild to see Googlers celebrate Chrome’s 15th birthday and bragging their part in it RIGHT after they tricked their users into the creepiest ad tracking platform with the darkest of dark patterns. I would be ashamed to be part of that. Personal values and integrity are liabilities.
