The same thing happened with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 under Obama: Repubs voted against the bill, but took credit for the money.

I know she was not in office then, but since Gringrich, the GOP has been recycling the same ideas and behavior w/new faces.

I used to think Repubs were committing idolatry when they wanted to name everything after Reagan.

Actually, they are very consistent. What they ultimately care about is power, and escaping accountability. They are about being on top more than they care about laws, rules, or process.

It's better than waking up and believing things that been disproved multiple times, like all the Repubs who still think Trump did not lose the election, or pretty much anything QAnon has said.

And if you should be concerned about anything, an insurrection is at the top of the list.

Secondly, while I do not like Gaetz, if you walk around dressed like an idiot with horns on your head, do not expect to be taken seriously.
