Sometimes--more often than not these days--being blind is exhausting. Bed frame has a broken part? Take a picture of it and send to the support email. Tell them why circling the part number in the user manual simply isn't viable. Employment offer and resultant forms? All untagged PDFs and graphics. I9 form? Forget it. Take pictures of my passport, call Aira. Apartment putting random inaccessible padlocks on things? Email them to advocate for myself. And that's only today. Happy Monday.

Tristan (tristan@hachyderm.io)'s status on Wednesday, 28-Jun-2023 04:28:17 JST Tristan Lemmy.ml (the Lemmy developer's instance) is blocking all requests from /kbin nodes based on user agent alone. Admins in their Matrix room haven't answered multiple requests as to why. This is creating cascading failures for /kbin server owners because Lemmy.ml continues to send outbound requests to /kbin servers while not allowing them to communicate in return, and entirely defederating /kbin instances would honestly be more effective. https://kbin.social/m/kbinMeta/t/104218/Lemmy-ml-is-blocking-all-requests-from-kbin-Instances
