Afaik pixelfed's a mess to host, at least some of his "open source" repos seem to be years out of date and hyping up own projects like a brand is unsympathic at best.

Ich merke seit gestern ja doch wieder, dass es selbst bei einigen Fedi-Nutzenden noch sehr in Sachen Aufklärung der neuen sozialen Netzwerke fehlt. (siehe die Welle in Richtung #Bluesky , die ich ja doch ziemlich schade finde)

Maybe the internet being mostly five corporate websites for the past 15 years was a really bad idea.
