@Infoseepage I did this in China once expecting it to be the whole cabin and it was not. Little old lady did wind up moving to a different cabin once she spoke to the conductor, so I did wind up with my own cabin, but it was weird there was no way to tell!

@Infoseepage yeah, I wasn’t sure I could either, but these are pretty good. I think I’m going to make one more adjustment to them, but mostly happy with them. I’d love an external speaker that could be placed somewhere in a room to do noise cancelling, but that’s a tough ask, I think!

@Infoseepage I just a bought a pair of their sleep ones. Pretty good, comfortable to sleep in once you get the right fitting bits in place (which takes a few nights of practice). Sound cancelling is decent but not as good as AirPods (which are not comfortable to sleep in). But it’s meant I can sleep with the windows open, which is super nice.

@Infoseepage when I got the vaccine and posted about it, so many people in their 30s said they’d had shingles that I was shocked the vax is only available for those over 50!

@kims I had an Oreo thin for the first time on Friday and could not get over how wrong it tasted.

@Infoseepage I’ve had luck with the app Hotel Tonight for last minute bookings, though I haven’t had to use it in a while.

@Infoseepage they’re mostly commuter service from bigger cities to small towns. I think considering the number of passengers, it just made more sense to run a single train to a bigger stop and then split that in two to go to smaller towns in different directions. That said the extent of my experience was having to remember which end of the train to sit in to go see my cousin in Wye.

@Infoseepage this is pretty normal in the UK, especially for late evening trains. The number of drunks who screw that up is very much greater than zero.

@Infoseepage anywhere you can get some compressed air to blow the fan clean?
