Man it feels NASTY outside. I really don't understand how so many people that grew up in this state say they love these hot humid summers. Yuck.

@shibao yeah conestee and Paris mountain might not be the best for trails, but they are close by and pretty nice.

@shibao it's hard to find REALLY good New York style pizza outside of the Northeast in a lot of places. We almost died out in California. There's a few other places around here that are about as decent. We just usually grab a pie from there because it's the closest.

Tito's pizza just down the road from them is about as good. There's a funny history between those two places. Supposedly the original owners of Titos I think sold Tito's to a new owner and then opened up pizza city just down the street using the same recipe. Some bad blood there.

No, Pizza City is pretty decent. Not the best I've had for sure, but pretty solid New York style thin crust and pretty close to the house.

There's a pizza place near me called Pizza City that has pretty decent New York style thin crust pizza that we fairly frequently get pizza from.

In my head and to Elle I almost exclusively refer to it as Pizza Shitty. Despite it not being shitty pizza at all.

Well that's cool. Noticed ATT out on the street a little earlier, I assume hooking up fiber for a neighbor. Now our internet is out. Called them. They'll send someone out on Monday. Thanks guys.

At least I've gotten rid of my Google wifi pucks a few years ago. So my home network still works and I can play stuff from my Plex and work half of my smart home devices. At some point I need to fully transition everything to home assistant so everything can still work fine without an internet connection. The cloud be damned!

Everytime I listen to Healing Herman Hesse by Buddy Wakefield, and I hear this line, it reminds me that I'm glad I've reached a point in my life where I'm happy and content with my living, as simple as it may be, and that I longer feel as if I'm simply surviving.

I have a funny feeling that this isn't what people are talking about on here lately.

I don't really think I see why everyone is so up in arms about #meta starting up an activity based server and joining the fediverse.

Other than being owned/controlled by a corporation rather than she rando, how is their server going to be any different?

It's not like they can just take everything over. If you don't want to federate, you, or your instance admins, have the power to block. So why is this such a big ordeal?

Finley woke me up at 12:45 last night too go outside.

Then he woke me up at 4:45 with a seizure.

It's been 11 weeks though since his last, hopefully it's at least another 11 more.

Now, do I try to get a little more sleep or just get my workout done and start my day.
