One quirky thing about the neighbourhood where my parents live is that during the warm seasons a man drives along the streets about once a month in a truck that looks like the adult version of an ice cream truck but instead of a tune there’s a bell (like the trains of yore) and instead of selling ice cream he offers a knife sharpening service.

I’ve never seen anyone use the service but I imagine people in their homes “honey -quick- grab the knives!” and running out there with dull knives 😂
