I just read the Wikipedia page. The first Mac’s to include FireWire were 1999. So it was like a 15-year project.

Does anyone use #GNUstep GNUmail with IMAP? I am trying to configure it to connect to my Fastmail account. On the screen where I choose the mailboxes to subscribe to, I click the “List” button. After that nothing happens. No errors, no loading states, no logs, no indication that anything is happening. Am I doing something wrong, or does this not work?

This hits hard:

I was charging over USB-C with a 96 watt Apple charger. What’s interesting is that the charger brick wasn’t hot at all.

I switched to the charger that came with it that connnects over a barrel jack to see if that made a difference.

It didn’t seem to.

@mos_8502 battery is *fine*. I leave it plugged in most of the time, but it will give me several hours.

Keyboard feels great. Good travel distance, right amount of resistance.

The screen is nice and bright.

@mos_8502 ~30 minutes later, still going. Also interesting, it’s plugged in to power, but the battery is draining. It’s also getting quite warm on the bottom.
