@fanta@mastodon.green Hace más de 25 años que no oía hablar de los archivos ".plan" (y la utilidad finger de UNIX, con la que podías consultar información del resto de usuarios del sistema, alguna de ella, gracias a un sistema de permisos que permitía leer esos archivos de sus directorios $HOME; eran permisos de otros tiempos, hoy es impensable). Alguna vez tuve alguno, por la gracia, aunque pronto dejé de usarlo.

@fanta@mastodon.green Independientemente de que lo cierto es que tanta capacidad de cálculo no debería ser necesaria (y si lo es, es para "lujos" como la IA o minar Bitcoins), es una pena que Microsoft hubiese abandonado su prometedor experimento de centros de datos submarinos ("refrigerados por agua de mar" y "entiendo" que alimentados por algún tipo de gereración eléctrica renovable).

@kaia@brotka.st I was there in 2010 and it's really great. They have some (modern) military cannon trailers and the chiming clock plays nice songs every hour. Saint Petersburg was a nice place to visit when Russia was still a normal country. :blobcatcry2:
