I live in a timeline where node.js is "fast thanks to javascript" while python is "slow because it's an interpreted language".

Does anybody have a ticket to the timeline where words have meaning?

@fence "node.js is fast" I can take, it's the part where being an interpreted language is a problem with python but it's :chef's kiss: with JS that gives me pause

Where would a rather good and very senior #Django dev and middling CTO go to find a new job that meets these requirements:
1. reasonable salary
2. no generative AI
3. ideally for something that actually benefits humanity as opposed to, say, harms humanity
