1. This is a photo of a female duck sitting on a lawn cleaning herself. Her head is turned around so she can attend the feathers on her back. Looks quite funny really. Round like a ball or a curling stone with a handle. :Lovely shades of brown. Beautiful condition. She belongs to the Mallard family

1. This little Robin followed me around for quite a while until I put seeds in "his" feeder. This Robin basically ignores other feeders. He or she is sitting on a twig just watching me moving around and hopping along from twig to twig. Lovely little bird!

The colours of the Magpie are black white and blue and blend in nicely with the blurred flowers in the background. Usually a Magpie appears to be just black and white but with sunshine and in full flight one can see the beautiful blue wing feathers. A very handsome bird.
