    #GTK is dropping support for building with #Autotools and will be using only #Meson.

    Meanwhile I don't care for Meson and I'm trying to learn Autotools.

    My Mastodon host is linuxrocks.online, and I have some other problems there (can't see the local timeline since 1 or 2 weeks ago), so who know, perhaps it's something on their side.

      Car Report is a free software Android app that I got from F-Droid. I've been using it for years to track expenses with my car. I'm thinking of rewriting it for GTK so I can use it on my desktop, and maybe one day on a GNU/Linux mobile phone.

    I became interested in #Emacs many years ago but I didn't invest enough time in it so I'm still a noob. I also don't know #lisp at all.

    Now I started watching "Emacs From Scratch, An Emacs Tutorial for Beginners" [1] by @lxsameer and I like it. I'm already at episode 3. Let's hope it will help me get deeper into Emacs.

    I didn't explore Deniran too much, as it was still "work in progress", but now Mayor Sakhs gave me a daily monster quest for a "chaos dragonrider". Starkad said they only live in Deniran, so I have a reason to go there again. I wonder how it looks like nowadays.

    One of the benefits of changing the job is that now I don't need that non-free 2FA app on my phone anymore.
    The number of apps I have installed from outside of F-Droid just decreased from 2 to 1.

    It's not really broken, it just doesn't work with git in that form - but it's still accessible from a browser. You would still need to build it yourself by following the readme, then load the z5 file in a program like frotz. Not really straightforward, but the game is nice imo.

    I hadn't received the new email either, and I was just about to open a ticket to the hosting provider. Then I had the idea of looking around in cPanel for anything related to spam and I found some "SpamExperts" thing, which had a quarantine, and inside were the confirmation emails and also the one you sent. I don't know much about them because I clicked "release from quarantine" thinking they would be routed to my inbox but they just disappeared.
    Anyway, I disabled that filter because I'm not going to login to cPanel every day just to check for possibly missing emails.
    And I'm in the process of migration to a better provider anyway.

    Thank you for taking care of my issue.
    9 hours later, I still hadn't received any email. Then I changed the address and got one right away.

    Now I'm worried, because the initial one was my main email address. What if there's something wrong with it? What if I'm missing other important emails? ?
