I can't do this again. How am I supposed to keep working as an artist, with my work being dependant on being public when I'm having a melt down every time I see a post about Israel, and incredible load of hate to my country while my family is literally being evacuated and my therapist cancelled our sessions because he was called back into the army to fight and terrorists are literally kidnapping children and murdering them INTENTIONALLY.
I thought Mastodon was a safe space. I was wrong.

Just woke up to what may be the worst terror attack in the history of Israel, right next to my family's house. They are still in lockdown but they are luckily okay. The rest of the country, and Israelis worldwide, we are not okay, and soon Gaza will probably be a lot more not okay too because this is now officially war. I have traumatic responses every time I see posts about it. #israel

Looking to move to the US in Feb, East Coast and north. That means for me looking for an agent in music / media / acting and for my partner, looking for work in film (video editing / VFX or production assistance). We might move even sooner if we find work. He can work there with a Bermuda passport, just a form to fill. I need an artist visa, will apply as soon as I sign with an agent / agency. There's really only one test to being my friend, and that is, when I say whatever's on my mind, especially when it's completely random, nonsensical and bordering tactless (but not offensive), that you don't react like something's gone wrong. My need to be randomly absolutely stupid is not negotiable.
