Finally (for today), here's a moorhen chick looking a bit lost but really just waiting for its parent to deliver food.

There's a bit of symbiosis going on between the Egyptian geese and moorhen living on the lake where I took this shot: Geese poop, poop attracts flies, moorhen eat flies. I'll have a video of that tomorrow!

The parent eventually made a delivery: On the left, some kind of tiny shrimp (?) in the parent's beak; and on the right, the chick's got it.

(Of course, my camera decided to lose focus for a split-second when the handing-over (beaking-over?) occurred.)
